Permission is granted to electronically copy and print hard copy portions of this site for the sole purpose of placing an order with John Conaty Ltd or for purchasing John Conaty Ltd products. You may, subject to any expressly stated restrictions or limitations relating to specific material, download or print portions of the material from the different areas of the site solely for your own non-commercial use, or to place an order with John Conaty Ltd or to purchase John Conaty Ltd products.

Any other use, including but not limited to the reproduction, distribution, display or transmission of the content of this site is strictly prohibited, unless authorized by John Conaty Ltd. You further agree not to change or delete any proprietary notices from materials downloaded from the site.

From the date the product is received, all products supplied come with a 12-month replacement part only warranty.

This warranty only covers breakdowns or faults due to defect in materials or workmanship. It does not cover wear & tear, incorrect installation, lack of routine maintenance, accidental damage or damage caused by negligence or misuse, or unauthorised modification.

John Conaty Ltd shall not be liable for loss, injury or any damage relating to parts or machinery supplied by ourselves. Warranties are extended as far as those given to us by our suppliers.

All parts are only to be fitted by competent persons. Body panels must be test fitted before painting. John Conaty Limited will not be liable for costs of painting or coating of panels prior to fitment. This warranty is made available to the Customer who is the initial purchaser of the product provided that an appropriate proof of purchase can be shown. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure all our products are fitted by a fully qualified engineer in line with the original manufacturer’s instructions. All items must be checked for full compatibility and fitness for purpose, prior to installation.

Cancel Orders

If you need to cancel an order, please notify our sales team by email or by phone soon as possible. After an order has been dispatched it is not possible to cancel the delivery with our carriers. Please do not refuse to accept a delivery as a way of cancellation. If delivery of an order is refused the goods will be returned to us by our carriers. A charge is incurred by us for this return which will be deducted, along with handling charges, from any refund amount.

Body Parts & Panels

All body parts and panels we supply come with a protective paint covering only. Any colour matching the finishing colour is by coincidence only.

Electronic Goods

Once goods of an electronic nature, not limited to ECU's, EDU's, EMU's and sensors are purchased, they cannot be returned for a refund.

Limitation of Liability

John Conaty Ltd shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on this site or the performance of the products, even if John Conaty Ltd has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Typographical Errors

In the event that a John Conaty Ltd product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, John Conaty Ltd reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. John Conaty Ltd reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, John Conaty Ltd shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Term; Termination

These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by John Conaty Ltd without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.


John Conaty Ltd may deliver notice to you by means of e-mail, a general notice on the site, or by other reliable method to the address you have provided to John Conaty Ltd.


Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Republic of Ireland., without regard to choice of law provisions, and not by the 1980 U.N. Convention on contracts for the international sale of goods. You agree that jurisdiction over any legal proceedings directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this site (including but not limited to the purchase of John Conaty Ltd products) shall be in the state located in the Republic of Ireland. Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the site (including but not limited to the purchase of John Conaty Ltd products) must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. John Conaty Ltd's failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any of these terms and conditions. John Conaty Ltd may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without notice to you.

Use of Site

Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Impersonation of others, including a John Conaty Ltd or other licensed employee, host, or representative, as well as other members or visitors on the site is prohibited. You may not upload to, distribute, or otherwise publish through the site any content which is libellous, defamatory, obscene, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, illegal, or otherwise objectionable which may constitute or encourage a criminal offense, violate the rights of any party or which may otherwise give rise to liability or violate any law. Nonetheless, John Conaty Ltd seeks to protect the integrity of its web site and the links placed upon it and therefore requests any feedback on not only its own site, but for sites it links to as well (including if a specific link does not work).

About VAT on Sales by John Conaty

In accordance with the laws governing members of the EU, John Conaty is obliged to charge VAT on all orders delivered to destinations in member countries of the EU. The Recommended Retail Price (RRP) and/or price displayed for goods sold by John Conaty are exclusive of Irish VAT. Your final price during checkout will reflect the correct VAT rate for Ireland.

About Purchasing as a VAT Registered Customer in the EU

If you're VAT registered in an EU member state and you've received a VAT registration number issued by an EU member state then subject to the conditions as set out in the VAT registration agreement, you can submit that VAT registration number for purchasing by registering a full account with John Conaty. Once your account has been verified, John Conaty will enable 0% VAT as default to your account. If your order has been submitted and payment taken before your account has been verified, John Conaty will ensure that once your VAT number has been checked John Conaty will refund the customer the VAT amount.

Currency Converter

The currency converter is for information purposes only and should not be relied upon as accurate and real time; actual rates may vary. All orders are placed in Euro and the actual exchange rate charged to you is calculated independently by your credit card company / bank / PayPal account. Please note that both charges and refunds shall only be made in Euro and we cannot be held responsible for any loss due to exchange rate fluctuations.

Shipping Processing Times

Please note that any order placed after 13.00 will be shipped the following day, in addition, any order placed after 12.00 on Fridays will not be processed until the following Monday morning. These measures have been enforced by our couriers and as such are out of our control, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Electronic Funds Transfer / Bank Transfer Payment Method / Cheque

Please note that Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) forms will be emailed to the customer on receipt of the order. Once the funds have been cleared, the goods will be released for shipment and a confirmation email will be sent. If the EFT or Cheque payment is not received within 7 working days, the order will be cancelled.

Gift Certificate

Gift Certificates may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible products on www.johnconaty.com. Purchases are deducted from the redeemer's Gift Certificate balance. Any unused Gift Certificate balance will be placed in the redeemer's account. If a purchase exceeds the redeemer's Gift Certificate balance, the remaining amount must be paid with another payment method. Gift Certificates, including any unused Gift Certificates balances, expire one year from the date of issuance. Gift Certificates cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value or redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by law. We will have the right to close customer accounts and take payment from alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Gift Certificate is redeemed and/or used to make purchases on www.johnconaty.com. When you purchase, receive or redeem a Gift Certificate, you agree that the laws of the Republic of Ireland will govern these Gift Certificate terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time in our discretion. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law.


Everyone likes to feel appreciated, and with MyRewards we can show our appreciation by giving something back to our loyal customers. The MyRewards program tracks points shoppers earn by making purchases on our store, then converts those points into store credit if they have reached the prerequisite amount of points. If the customer has spent €1500 less tax in a calendar month then they will receive a 5% discount on their first order the following month. Additionally, if they spend €3000+ less tax in a calendar month than they will receive a 10% discount on their first order in the subsequent month. Please be aware that these rewards are based on spending per calendar month and do not roll over to the following month.
